(1) EVENT DETAILSBACK TO TOP
LOOKING FOR EVENT DETAILS
On the Gatecrash homepage (www.gatecrash.com.sg), click on any "More" link, or on the picture. You'll be brought to the Event Details page for that event. Among other things, you can click (a) "View Synopsis" to bring up a text synopsis, which replaces the picture. Click (b) "View Image" to bring back the picture.

Gatecrash knows that details are important, and that certain details are more important than others. We are constantly trying to improve, so please do let us have your feedback on what you would like to see online.

Where can I find more event details other than what's on www.gatecrash.com.sg?
Each event we list also provides a link to the website associated with the event. Look for the (c) "WEBSITE" link on the Events Details page for that event.

How do I know which dates of a show still have tickets available or are sold out?
At the Event Details page for the show, look for the drop-down date selection menu on upper right, and click on the downward arrow. A list of show dates (d) will be shown plus an indication whether it is still "available" or "sold out".

I am looking for tickets to a particular performance but I cannot find it on the Gatecrash website.
You can locate shows on the Gatecrash website via two methods:

-Click on the "On Sale Now" tab in the navigation bar at the top of any page and you'll be presented with a list of all shows on sale. Browse for the show you are looking for.
-At the top right corner of the website is an Event Search box - select the genre of the show you are looking for (eg. Theatre, music) and click "go".
-In the Event Search box, enter a keyword relating to the show and click "go".
-If all else fails, call our hotline for help: 6100-2005.
(2) BUYING & RECEIVING TICKETS, SEATINGBACK TO TOP
BUYING AND RECEIVING TICKETS
There are 5 ways to get tickets for shows serviced by Gatecrash:

-Online/Internet : At www.gatecrash.com.sg (requires credit card or eNets account)
-By Phone : Gatecrash's hotline 6100-2005 (requires credit card or eNets account)
-S.A.M.s : At Singpost's Self-service Automated Machines kiosks islandwide. You can pay by NETS and admission tickets are issued by the S.A.M.
-Post Office : At SingPost Post Offices
-The Substation : At The Substation, located at 45 Armenian Street.

Promoters may sometimes provide additional means of getting tickets, for example, at the door just before the show. If you have any problems or queries getting tickets, give us a call at 6100-2005.

How will my tickets be delivered if I buy them online or via phone?
You can get your tickets by:

-Post/mail ($1 postal fee applies)
-Collection at the venue ($1 postal fee applies)

I am collecting my tickets at the venue - when and where can I collect?
Your tickets will be made available for collection at the show venue from about 1 hour before the show starts. Look for a Gatecrash booth at the venue. To avoid inconvenience, please do try to collect early - give yourself some time to collect before the show's start time.

IMPORTANT! Remember to bring your identification (eg. NRIC) for collection. At the collection booth, you will be asked to provide your name and identification number.

I am only booking a ticket. Why do you need my NRIC, name, contact number and address?
By recording your contact details against your purchase, we can be rest assured that if anything happens to them (eg. If the tickets are lost or stolen) we can trace your transaction and verify your ownership of the tickets. In this way, we can better assist you in the event of any loss or discrepancy.

Your contact number is important in the event that the show you are attending is cancelled. With it, we can quickly contact you to let you know, as well as to facilitate refunds or exchanges.

If you do not require your tickets to be mailed to you, it is not necessary to give us your mailing address.

Can I buy tickets without a credit card?
Yes, you can buy tickets directly from a S.A.M. kiosk. Payment is available via NETS.

Or, buy your tickets from a Post Office, where you can also pay by cash in addition to NETS and other means.

I am unable to book tickets to certain shows on www.gatecrash.com.sg - the link keeps bringing me to another website. Why is this so?
As a service to the arts community, some shows are promoted on www.gatecrash.com.sg although we do not provide tickets for them.

Do you deliver overseas (outside of Singapore)?
Sorry, at this point in time, we do not deliver tickets outside of Singapore.

SEAT SELECTION
Can I choose seats when buying tickets?
Yes, you can specify your choice of (available) seats when you purchase through our online storefront (www.gatecrash.com.sg) or through our hotline 6100-2005.

At Gatecrash, we know that when you go to a piano concerto concert, you'd rather sit on the left side of the stalls rather than the right, but not too far left that you'd only see the soloist's back. Just a little bit off to the left of the centre is just nice....

So, we continue to find ways to facilitate your choice of seats. For a start, try our online booking system. It requires flash installed on your browser. Although flash is quite common now, not everyone has it installed, so if you have a problem, call our hotline 6100-2005 for help booking seats.

Important note: for purchases through S.A.M and SingPost Post Offices, seats are system-allocated, ie. the best seats will be automatically allocated to you based on availability.

How does the Flash seat selection feature work?
The Flash-powered seat selection tool allows you to view the venue's seat map, zoom in/out of specific areas and select the seats you wish to buy tickets for.

Use the '+/-' buttons to zoom in/out of the map, and the reset button to reset the map to fit the display box in the Buy Ticket console. Click and hold (a hand symbol replaces your cursor) the map to drag areas.

Seats which are available, not available or sold-out, will be indicated (see the legend to understand the symbols).

To select a seat for purchase, click on the area you wish to sit to zoom in. Click on the seat to select it - you may buy up to 9 seats in one transaction. Your selection is automatically entered into the table on the right of the map.

When you're finished selecting, click on "Proceed with Purchase"; to continue.

What if my browser does not have flash installed? Where can I get flash?
If your browser does not have flash player installed, it may prompt you to do so with a link. Click on the link and follow the instructions provided.

Otherwise, go to Adobe's website to download the flash player.

If you still have problems purchasing tickets online, please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused. Please call our hotline at 6100-2005 and allow our customer service representative to assist you in purchasing tickets. Or you may buy tickets from a S.A.M kiosk or SingPost Post Office.
(3) S.A.M. (SingPost's Self-service Automated Machines)BACK TO TOP
S.A.M. (Self-service Automated Machine)
You can buy tickets from S.A.M. kiosks (also called "SAM Machines"), the popular and versatile self-service machines located islandwide. Tickets are printed on SAM receipts - please note these are actual tickets.

Where can I find the nearest S.A.M. (Self-service Automated Machine) / SingPost Post Office?
Singapore Post maintains up-to-date lists for these:

S.A.M. Locations:
- Download list in Acrobat format.
- Make a search with SingPost Locator .

Post Office locations:
- Make a search with SingPost Locator .

I am trying to find Gatecrash on the SAM screen - where is it?
At the main menu, press "BOOK/PAY FOR TICKETS", then select the Gatecrash logo.

For reserved seating events, can I choose my seats if I'm buying via SAM (or at the Post Office)?
We're afraid the answer is: no. At this point in time, tickets bought from SAM or at Post Office counters will be system-allocated. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. Alternatively, to select specific seats, buy your tickets online at www.gatecrash.com.sg or call our hotline 6100-2005.

I purchased 5 tickets using a SAM machine, but only 2 tickets were issued. How can I get the remaining tickets?
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused - chances are, the SAM machine you used has run out of receipt paper.

To get your remaining tickets, please call our hotline 6100-2005 and provide your NRIC number so our customer service representative can trace and verify your transaction. We will then make arrangements for you to pick up your remaining tickets. (Do bring along your NRIC for verification purposes).
(4) BOOKING & POSTAL FEESBACK TO TOP
Booking and Postal Fees
From 1 March 2007, for tickets above $20, Gatecrash will charge a Booking Fee of $2. However, certain shows will continue to enjoy a $1 Booking Fee due to contractual agreements prior to 1 March.

For tickets $20 and below, you need only pay a Booking Fee of $1.

Note that if you are receiving your ticket by post, or collecting at the venue, we also charge a S$1 mailing fee.

What is the booking fee for?
The Gatecrash Booking Fee is used to cover our staffing as well as hardware/system maintenance cost. This is the standard rate in Singapore and we appreciate your contribution to help us improve our services to you.

Will all shows change to a $2 Booking Fee from March 1?
No, promoters/shows who have existing contracts, signed with us prior to the change, will use the old $1 Booking Fee rate.

How do I know what is the Booking Fee for sure?
When viewing event details: during the transition period, we will indicate the Booking Fee(s) in the "OTHER INFORMATION" column in a show's Event Details page.

In your shopping cart: additionally, if you book tickets, you can check your Shopping Cart to see the Booking Fee associated with each show/category of tickets you have booked. As you proceed through payment, we will also display the appropriate booking fees.

How much do I have to pay for postage?
S$1.

(5) ONLINE PAYMENT, POP-UPSBACK TO TOP
Online (vPOST) Payment
Gatecrash's online payment gateway/service is powered by vPOST, which allows you to pay by credit card (VISA and Mastercard) or e-Nets.

IMPORTANT NOTE: if you pay for Gatecrash tickets using vPOST, the transaction is reflected as "VPOST.com.sg" on your card statement.

Is is safe to enter my credit card information online? How secure is your website?
vPOST is the familiar secure payment processing provided by Singapore Post and used by many established organizations, including the Singapore Police Force, the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) and SingTel.

GATECRASH does NOT keep your credit card information in any form.

vPOST uses 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Encryption, an industry-standard security system. SSL protocol is used to safeguard your sensitive personal information when you enter them online. Using this widely-accepted form of encryption, your transaction is protected as it is processed between your personal computer and the payment server.

The vPOST payment is not working. Nothing happens when I click to pay, what should I do?
If no vPOST pop-up window has appeared, your browser may be set to block pop-ups. In this case, please check the instructions below on how to enable pop-ups on your browser.

The vPOST payment system stopped, went down, or replied with an error page while I was halfway through payment - what should I do?
The vPOST payment gateway may have suffered a breakdown. This may happen because of any number of possible reasons (server breakdown, traffic overload, connectivity issues, submarine earthquakes) that are sometimes beyond our control. Please call our hotline 6100-2005 for immediate assistance to check the status of your transaction. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience.

How do I enable pop-ups in my browser?
To enable pop-ups for vPOST transactions:

Step 1:
For Internet Explorer: Go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy. Under "Pop-up Blocker" options, click Settings.

For Firefox: Go to Tools > Content and under the option "Block Popup Windows", click the "Allowed Sites" button.

Step 2:
In the next window, enter and add the following URLs to allow pop-ups for them: www.jxgateway.com and choose at least one of the following pertaining to your payment provider:

- dbsd2pay.dbs.com (for DBS/POSB Account holders)
- uniservices1.uobgroup.com (for UOB Account holders)
- www.citibank.com.sg (for Citibank Account holders)

To enable all pop-ups on your browser: uncheck the "Block Pop-up Windows" option altogether.

What do I need to buy and pay for tickets online?
To use the Gatecrash online ticket store, you'll need an internet connection and a browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox.

Please ensure your browser is configured to accept and open pop-ups, at least from vPOST. For more information, see our Help section.

For online payment processing, we offer options for Visa/MasterCard credit cards and eNETS debit.
(6) LOST TICKETSBACK TO TOP
Lost Tickets
Lost tickets can be replaced. Please call the Gatecrash hotline at 6100-2005 for assistance. Please be ready to provide your personal details which you used to purchase the tickets (eg. Name and NRIC) so that we can verify with our system.

Why must I pay for replacement tickets?
This is to cover the cost incurred for tickets reissued, which includes manpower and printing needs. We also undertake steps to protect your lost tickets from being used by another party. We seek your understanding in this, to help us protect your purchase with us.

How much do I have to pay for postage?
S$1.

My tickets were stolen. What if someone tries to attend the show with them?
Gatecrash will issue you replacement ticket(s) which you'll be able to collect at the venue/door. These tickets will override the lost originals. Please bring along your identity card for verification purposes, just in case.

If you discover that someone else is using your lost tickets, please alert the ushers and the front-of-house management. Only the rightful ticket holder will be allowed entry.
